At LogicGate, we’re always looking for ways to help our customers get more out of our platform. That’s why we’re beyond excited to announce the launch of our online learning platform and Power User Certification program on May 7, 2020.
Consisting of three separate courses—Introduction to LogicGate, Application Builder 101, and Application Builder 201— the Power User Certification program provides a means for LogicGate admin users to increase their proficiency with LogicGate’s Risk Cloud applications and workflow builder.
Curious about how to become a #PowerUser yourself? Read on for more information.
What is the Power User Certification program?
The three-course Power User Certification program is designed to help LogicGate users become more proficient with fundamental skills within the platform. By the end of the program, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to build a full Application from scratch—as well as a certificate to display on LinkedIn for all of your hard work.
We’ll be adding additional courses to cover even more advanced concepts in the future, such as reporting, user management, and designing your data structure. Be sure to check back regularly for updates!
Who can attend?
Any LogicGate customer with a Primary User license can enroll in the virtual certification program.
What will I learn?
The program starts with the basics to build the foundation, before diving into advanced-level tactics and strategies to become more efficient, productive, and knowledgeable within the LogicGate platform. In Introduction to LogicGate, you’ll start with the LogicGate Building Blocks—Applications, Workflows, Steps, and Jobs among other core concepts. From there you’ll move on to more advanced topics in the Builder series, such as Workflow Mappings, Access Requirements, and Automatic Notifications—all the tools you need to further operationalize and mature your GRC program.
Is the program different from onboarding?
Yes, the Power User Certification program is just a portion of the Admin Training performed as part of each LogicGate customer’s onboarding.
How long does it take to complete?
Each course can take between 30 minutes and two hours to complete; the full certification program requires up to 5 hours.
Is there any cost?
There is no additional cost associated with the Power User Certification for LogicGate customers.
How is the content structured?
Within each of the three courses, you’ll complete a series of modules such as videos, how-to guides, tutorials, and knowledge checks—all of which can be reviewed at your own pace. At any time, you’ll be able to check in with our Customer Success team to make sure you’re staying on track.
Are there other ways I can stay plugged in?
Yes! We are also unveiling a Slack Community called “The Risk Crowd.” The community is a forum where you’ll be able to interact with other LogicGate users to talk GRC—from general best practices to LogicGate tips, tricks, and upcoming new features.
