When it comes to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), there are endless options for platforms and solutions. The selection process can be overwhelming to sort through, especially if you are just starting your evaluation process.

During a recent podcast episode kicking off season three of GRC & Me, LogicGate’s senior product manager, Amrutha Sivakumar, and GRC technical content manager, Emily Affinito, shared their thoughts on Risk Cloud Exchange, an ecosystem that helps customers operationalize and enhance their GRC programs in Risk Cloud.

So what is Risk Cloud Exchange, and what can it offer your business? Here are some additional insights based on Amrutha and Emily’s discussion.

1) Accessibility

The power to find the GRC program that works best for you is in your hands, according to Amrutha, “Our goal with the Risk Cloud Exchange is to make sure that as a whole, it is really usable and the interface actually enables you to go and find what you're looking for.”

To keep up with the growing and changing needs of customers, Risk Cloud has an internal feedback portal that allows customers to directly share content and product feedback with the Risk Cloud Exchange team.

That feedback helps the team assess what customers need, pinpoint industry trends, and revise their GRC programs to bring about the most positive impact for customers.

2) Ready-To-Use

The goal is for customers to be able to make a knowledgeable decision, says Amrutha, “Our philosophy is that before you decide to go to production or go live with one of these new solutions that you add, you have full confidence that the solution really solves problems for your organization.”

While Risk Cloud Exchange offers a lot of pre-built applications for enterprise risk management, incident management, and controls management, there’s plenty of room to modify an Application to fit your company’s needs.

Every Application is customizable and can be used as-is or modified to fit your specific requirements. Customers can even test out or trial an Application to ensure it works for your organization.

Through customization and flexibility, any company, no matter their size or experience level with GRC, can use and adjust these Applications to improve your risk management programs.

3) Independence

When a company has access to the appropriate tools for their GRC program and is given the ability to adapt those tools as needed, it sets that organization up for success.

It’s about making every Application a valuable product for everyone in the Risk Cloud community, according to Emily, “At the end of the day, we just want to understand how we can best support you all, so how we can save your team's resources, how we can make sure you have a good understanding of your GRC programs.”

Risk Cloud offers autonomy to its customers so that you can control the what, how, and when of their Applications. When you know what programs you need for your company and how to use them, your business can thrive.

Putting You in Control

Risk Cloud Exchange is meant to facilitate a true exchange of ideas and feedback between members of the Risk Cloud community. The content is made specifically for the customers of Risk Cloud, which allows its users to have direct input in the creation and improvement of these Applications.

According to Amrutha, Risk Cloud is the future of GRC: “Risk Cloud Exchange is going to be your one-stop shop to inspire your own program by the things that others are doing in the community.”

Risk Cloud Exchange can help you find the Applications you need and learn how to use them to strengthen your risk management program—and your company. Listen to the full episode to learn more about what other benefits Risk Cloud Exchange can provide for your GRC program.
