LogicGate’s Risk Cloud SEC Cyber Compliance Solution gives your company the necessary tools and expert support to navigate the upcoming regulatory changes from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Since the dawn of the internet, we’ve been combating cyberattacks. But every year, they become more sophisticated, more numerous, and more disastrous. So, in July of 2023, the SEC launched a new set of cybersecurity rules to better prepare publicly traded companies, especially in the tech industry.
To help organizations streamline the disclosure of cybersecurity incidents, enhance their cybersecurity infrastructure, and stay compliant, LogicGate Risk Cloud is ready to help you navigate these new cyber threats and regulations.
Are you ready?
On July 26, 2023, the SEC released new rules that require publicly traded companies and foreign private issuers to disclose cybersecurity incidents they experience and provide annual disclosures on their cybersecurity risk management, strategy, and governance.
The new rules aim to provide investors with more consistent, valuable cybersecurity disclosure information. By ensuring companies publish material cybersecurity information, these rules will benefit investors, companies, and the markets connecting them.
If the U.S. Attorney General determines that immediate exposure would pose a substantial risk to national security or public safety, you may be granted permission to delay your disclosure.
The easiest way to ensure compliance with new SEC requirements is by using our next-generation Risk Cloud platform to streamline your cybersecurity incident disclosures, strengthen your cybersecurity posture, and improve your overall governance and risk management practices.
